Sosena Audain the 2026 Montgomery County Youth Poet Laureate & an author who lives in Potomac, Maryland. She is a senior at Georgetown Day School. Her debut book of poetry, "Sosiology", which is a pun on her nickname (Sosi), is available as an ebook on Amazon. She published a novella in 2021 entitled The GIVID, & she is the founder of The Literacy Cohort, a student action committee dedicated to restoring local access to banned books. Her work has won a few national and international awards, including the National Silver Medal through Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and an award from the National Council of Teachers of English. She is currently an Executive Editor and Teaching Assistant with Polyphony Lit. She is also the Assistant Editor in Chief of The Looking Glass Review.
