Event Description:
It all comes down to THIS! Come see the area's most promising young wordsmiths compete for a spot on the 2025 DMV Youth Poetry Slam Team. We invite all poets ages 13-19 to sign up while space is available. Hosted by Blackpicasso with special guest judges. When the smoke clears, DMV Youth Slam Team members will receive hands-on training with our writing and performance experts in preparation to compete at the 2025 Brave New Voices International Poetry Festival in July.
