About the Event
This Valentine’s Weekend, show love to the culture. Pull up to this hands-on Graffiti & DJ workshop in Washington, DC where you’ll learn the basics of DJing, create graffiti art, and vibe with complimentary drinks alongside your people.
Open to singles, couples, and Galentines. No experience necessary.
Spots are limited. Advance tickets strongly recommended.
What You’ll Do
Graffiti Art: Create and tag your own graffiti name on our 10-foot mural wall, with guidance on lettering, style and technique led by graffiti and fine artist Asad “ULTRA” Walker.
DJ Fundamentals: Dig through vinyl and get hands-on with real turntables while learning basic DJ techniques and scratch patterns from DJ Shablast.
Guided Instruction: Led by experienced teaching artists who walk you through each activity step by step.
About Your Host, Mazi:
I am the founding Executive Director of this 20-year-old hip-hop nonprofit. We have offered classes to thousands of children and hundreds of adults. We would love for you to visit our headquarters and have a one-of-a-kind experience making art in the Nation's capital.

The classroom is in an old church and Mazi met us outside and walked us right to the experience.
